Our round in Milehouse
Head south east for about a mile from the middle of St Albans, in a straight line, and you reach Milehouse, a hamlet under St Albans council with AL1 postcodes.
Places close to the centre of Milehouse include the River Ver, Cunningham Hill Green Space and St Albans Organ Theatre (a museum). For trains, St Albans City station is about a mile to the north west, as the crow flies.
Milehouse is a Tuesday for us: the St Albans west round. We already clean homes in Milehouse, every 4 or 8 weeks, with a text the day before. You don't need to be in for an outside clean, as long as we can get to the windows.
How a clean works in Milehouse
We clean with pure water we make ourselves at our unit in Colney Heath. It goes up through water-fed poles that reach up to 40ft, and the brush does the glass, frames and sills, so they dry clear with no soap or detergent left behind.
The first visit is a deep clean and can take three or four times as long, at no extra cost. After that it's a regular clean each time.
